I was wondering about contacting the Bad River Band about camping on reservation land but had no cell signal at Black River Harbor. Dave and Amy had told me about a
guy from the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa who they some how met in 2006. Can you believe I paddled up to these people and the kids immediately insisted I land where they were and it was the same people Dave and Amy had met.. Steve and Melinda..Joe Roses neighbors... Even though it was only 3 pm and I wanted to go closer to Bayfield, it was a place I was welcome to camp on reservation land.. Only 20 miles to Bayfield!
