After the presentation with the Grand Portage students, which continued at the launch site near the Grand Portage Stockade Monument we finished packing and launched.
We took a break and briefly checked out the relics of an old 1800's copper mine on Susie Island. Photos are parts of old steam engine. In green jacket is Wilderness Classroom intern Dan by the big iron wheel and Dave next to the boiler of steam engine.
